Developing your Performance Coaching and Mentoring Skills
Most organisations have shifted away from the pedestrian annual appraisal where little heed was paid to merit of performance and more to do with the number of people who could and should fit into pre-determined award categories. The difference in an individual’s confidence and ability to reach their annual objectives or Key Performance Indicators soars dramatically when they participate in a performance coaching and/or mentoring program.
Our performance coaching solutions do not follow all the principles and practices aspired to in the plethora of Life coaching programs available. They also advocate appreciative approaches to work and encouraging frameworks to build the individuals ability and confidence to achieve success through constructive development. Do not assume that this means the performance coaching process provides no challenge and stretch for the individual; (whether this is for the coach or for the coachee) this is far from the case!
