It has been said that “A journey of many thousands of kilometres starts with a single step” – we would add a good map may also be of help! Whilst there are many maps; most have a similar set of milestones. This is the map or blueprint the TLC Partnership uses in its work with our customers to enable them to do more BRILLIANT work.
The 5 milestones to achieving success.
Our philosophy and approach “Enabling people to do brilliant work”:
- Any successful intervention requires the focus and attention at the most senior of levels within an organisation, and failure to obtain commitment first is tantamount to failure before you start!
- The strategy of the organisation sets the direction for the implementation of any development intervention
- Learning should provide new knowledge and skills giving rise to changes in attitude and behaviour that positively impact on desired performance and results
- Any development solution is not just about delivering objective-driven content – the style and approach needs to be inspiring as well as challenging – suggesting a difference is possible for the person first. Then encourage them to do brilliant work in moving the organisation towards its goals
- It’s OK to have fun whilst you learn!
- Training is a process – not a training course – it’s never ending and will relate to other organisational activities undertaken before, during and after any learning intervention
- Geography does not limit our ability to help organisations successfully implement their strategy
- We articulate the big picture as well as deliver the detail
- We use a variety of practical and proven modalities and methodologies that engage the positive and sustained attention of those where English may not necessarily be their mother tongue – or they don’t speak business-ease either!!
